The Datalogic QuickScan QBT2430 is a wireless 2D area imager designed for point-of-sale (POS), retail, and light industrial environments. It features a Bluetooth v3.0 connection capable of transmitting data to its base station or directly to commercial and embedded Bluetooth devices, including iOS and Android tablets via HID profile. The kit includes the scanner, USB base station, and USB cable, offering plug-and-play functionality for fast setup.

The QBT2430 uses a specially developed dark red illumination and dual blue LED aimer to reduce eye strain during prolonged scanning, making it more comfortable for operators over long shifts. With a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, the scanner can perform up to 30,000 scans per full charge, and its IP42 rating provides protection against dust and light water splashes. The compact, 200 g design ensures lightweight handling, while full 2D scanning capabilities make it suitable for retail barcodes, loyalty cards, QR codes, and mobile coupons.
